2026-2027 NCAA Update Workshop
The Tri-State Area School Study Council, in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh Athletics Department and supported by the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL), invites you to the 2026-2027 NCAA Update Workshop.
The landscape of college athletics is shifting more rapidly than ever. From evolving academic eligibility requirements and recruitment timelines to the continued impact of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policies and the transfer portal, educational leaders require up-to-date information to guide their student-athletes successfully.
This annual half-day event brings together athletic directors, coaches, guidance counselors, high school principals, and district-level administrators to explore these critical developments. The morning will feature expert presentations from collegiate compliance officers and WPIAL representatives, providing actionable insights into navigating the complexities of modern college sports. Thank you to everyone who submitted topic suggestions earlier this month to help us shape a highly relevant and impactful agenda.
